Some dreams take time. After eight years of running a part-time business that felt like a dead end, we knew it was time for something bigger. It took three years of soul-searching, researching, and countless trials before heyyo was finally born. But why sunscreen? Because nothing else made sense.

With a face that’s prone to sunburn and stubborn breakouts, the struggle to find the perfect sunscreen was real. Too greasy. Too drying. Stings the eyes. Feels heavy. Burns the skin. Some didn’t even protect enough—still got sunburnt! After testing endless formulas and investing way too much in sunscreens that just didn’t cut it, we thought—why not make one ourselves?

So, we did. And not just one, but a whole brand dedicated to sunscreen. Yep, HEYYO is Malaysia’s first and only sunscreen-focused brand.

Why "HEYYO"?

Fun fact: We had no idea what to name it at first. We wanted something simple, catchy, and easy to remember. Then it hit us—our little niece used to say “heyyo” instead of “hello,” and it just clicked. Friendly, welcoming, and effortlessly memorable. Just like our sunscreen.
